Wallwisher has many strengths. It is very easy to randomly start in the middle of class to organize and put down discussion ideas. Another nice feature is that you don't have to sign up for it to use it, neither do your students. Some weaknesses are that it is a little difficult to share the URL and that it is hard to keep organized. One more weakness is that it does not refresh automatically, so the chance of saying the same thing is very likely. I would use wallwisher as a small group activity or to see what students know about a topic. A setting where I dont need to read all of the responses would be sufficient.
